Join us in the HMES library every Friday from 3:15–4:15 PM, starting April 25 and running through May 30. That’s 6 exciting sessions of chess fun!

Under the guidance of Tom Shupe, US Chess Expert and Chess.com Coach of the Month, students will receive top-tier coaching in both fundamental strategies and advanced tactics. Tom's passion for teaching and chess ensures that every student, whether a beginner or an experienced player, will grow their skills in a fun and supportive environment.

🎉 Free entry to a 4-round scholastic chess tournament this May, organized by DMV Chess, the area's premier tournament organizer ($35-$45 value).
♟️ Free US Chess membership for players participating in their first tournament, giving them an official over-the-board rating ($24 value).
